A school was evacuated and a police search carried out earlier today following a bomb warning.

Just before 8.30am staff at Tunbridge Wells High School received a hoax telephone suggesting there was a bomb in one of the buildings.

The school followed routine safety procedures and evacuated the buildings while police searched the area.

Police will now carry out follow-up inquiries.
