Shopping centre death plunge man is named

A MAN who fell to his death from the roof of one of Kent's best-known shopping centres has been identified by police.

Mark Robinson, 38, of Greggs Wood Road, Tunbridge Wells, died after plunging from the roof of Royal Victoria Place in the town.

Police were called to the shopping centre at about 6pm last Tuesday.

In a statement, a police spokeswoman said: "The man sustained fatal head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene."

A post mortem was held on Thursday and an inquest into Mr Robinson's death was opened and adjourned on Friday.
