Two parents from Kent appeared at Maidstone Crown Court after their one-year-old child suffered a range of injuries.

The pair, from Southborough, are charged with assault, ill-treatment or neglect of a child and pleaded not guilty at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, September 3.

The parents, who cannot be named for legal reasons, stood side-by-side during their preliminary hearing on Friday, September 19, and are due to reappear at Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday, December 3.
