A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of a string of offences following an incident in Pembury last night.

Police were called to an address in Stone Court Lane following a report of a disturbance just before 8.30pm.

The teenager was arrested on suspicion of using violence to secure entry to a premises, a public order offence, common assault and assaulting a police officer.

He remains in custody this afternoon.
