SINCE releasing CCTV images of murdered teenager Terry Edmonds as she left Tunbridge Wells railway station, police have identified seven out of eight people clearly shown on the pictures.

The only person not identifield is a black woman in a white or beige hat.

The images were released because detectives wanted to talk to the other people who were leaving the station at the same time as Terry on the day she was last seen alive, Monday, April 17.

Det Insp David Withers said: "I am very grateful to the people who have contacted us and helped us identify who’s who in the pictures. We will be speaking to all the people.

"If anyone knows who this other person is (seen in the second picture down on the right) we would be pleased to hear from them.

"They are potential witnesses who may have valuable information."

When the images were initially released he said: "We are not linking them with the investigation in any other way."

The 17-year-old's body was discovered concealed in a suitcase near to the entrance of Morrisons Supermarket car park in Vale Avenue, Tunbridge Wells, on Saturday, April 29.

She had been sexually assaulted and strangled.

Terry's mother Helen Edmonds has delivered an emotional plea asking for anyone who knows anything about her daughter's death to contact police.
