If the wet and windy weather of Storm Hannah reminded shoppers of their need for good outdoor clothing on Saturday, at least they had somewhere to go.
Trespass, the outdoor clothing retailer opened its first branch in Tunbridge Wells at the weekend - a 2,000 sq ft shop within the Royal Victoria Place shopping centre.
Store manager Set Avery welcomed his first customers through the doors to view the large range of waterproof clothing, footwear, ski jackets and walking boots.
Customers were given a £10 off voucher if they spent £50 or more before Tuesday.
The shop is on Level 1 of the centre, next to Wilko, and also offers a Click and Collect service, for online shoppers.
Tunbridge Wells is now well served for retailers for those who enjoy the outdoor life. There is a Blacks store in Monson Road, and a Millets in Camden Road, which was rumoured to be closing in January, but has also stayed open.
Millets and Blacks are in the same ownership.
