Green-fingered Tunbridge Wells residents are being urged to stay on their guard after a spate of break-ins at an allotment.

Sheds in Yew Tree Road have been targeted between Sunday, February 26 and Wednesday.

The latest incident happened between 6pm on Tuesday February 28 and 11.30am on Wednesday March 1 when two more outbuildings were broken into.

The latest incident is believed to have happened between 6pm on Tuesday 28 February and 11.30am on Wednesday 1 March 2017 where it was reported that two sheds were broken into.

Between Midnight on Sunday 26 February and 9am on Wednesday 1 March 2017 it was reported that three sheds on the same site were targeted.

Officers also received a report that between 11am on Monday 27 February and Wednesday 1 March 2017 a shed was broken into on an allotment in Bondfield Close, Southborough.

Sergeant Richard O’Toole of Kent Police said: `We take reports of all crime seriously and I would encourage people to check to ensure their sheds are kept locked and secure and that no valuables are kept inside.
