A Tunbridge Wells school has issued a warning after a pupil was approached by two men in a white van.
A Skinners' Kent Academy student was followed by the vehicle while walking to school just before 9am today.
A Kent Police spokesman said the van is reported to have stopped in Sandown Park.
A spokesman for the academy said: "There was an incident involving a Skinners’ Kent Academy student on the way to the Academy this morning.
"We were aware of similar incidents involving students at other schools and had already informed our students, parents and carers, providing advice on how to deal with such a situation.
"This student acted in exactly the right way. The matter was reported to the police and the student is being supported.
"We are taking this matter very seriously and have contacted our parents and carers again today reminding them to speak to their sons and daughters about safety awareness. We will continue to be vigilant in this area."
It follows two similar incidents in west Kent in the past month. An investigation was launched after two men tried to entice a Tonbridge schoolboy into their van.
Wrotham school also issued a warning after a man reportedly approached a student in Borough Green last week.
