A woman has been charged with drink-driving, after a car overturned on a roundabout.

Mabel Mockford, 28, of Lavender Walk, East Malling, has been bailed to appear before Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on May 15.

Police were called to an incident at the Blue Boys Roundabout on the A21 Hastings Road, Tunbridge Wells, at around 1.30pm on April 29.

Officers attended and arrested a woman on suspicion of drink-driving before she was taken to hospital as a precaution.

A video taken by a passerby captures the car upside down on its roof, moments after the incident took place.

No serious injuries were reported.
