Woman hit by car in Tunbridge Wells

A woman has been rushed to hospital after she was hit by a car.

Prospect Road in Tunbridge Wells was closed after the incident at 7.28am this morning.

Ambulance crews treated the woman at the scene before taking her to a London hospital.

Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The road has since reopened.
