A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of rape after a woman was allegedly dragged into woodland and attacked.

The woman, aged in her 20s, reported being forced from a car and into woodland near Rusthall after accepting a lift home.

The alleged attack happened after she left a bar in Tunbridge Wells town centre at about 3am on Saturday, October 8.

A 19-year-old from Uckfield in Sussex remains in police custody.
