Firefighters tackle woodland blaze near Greggs Wood Road, Tunbridge Wells

Firefighters tacked a woodland blaze for more than five hours this morning.

Crews were called at around 9am to Greggs Wood Road in Tunbridge Wells.

Four fire engines were sent to the scene, along with two all-terrain vehicles and a technical rescue unit.

Crews worked for more than five hours to put out the blaze, which was eventually extinguished at around 2pm.

A spokesman from the service confirmed that no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
