A six-year-old boy has come up with a clever way to explain why people should stay at home during lockdown using his toys.
Aarav Korde from Pembury used magnets to demonstrate how the coronavirus can easily spread if people do not follow the government guidelines.
In the video Aarav says: "I know it's really boring staying at home. Even I'm bored but I'm reading and playing in my backyard."
Using his magnets to demonstrate, Aarav said: "Look what happens when you get too near to this person, you get infected because it clings onto you straight away. Then another person comes along, comes too near to you, and they get infected too.
"Only one person has infected three others so they all have to go to the NHS and the doctors and nurses might get infected. That's why it's important to stay at home.
"Please don't get angry with the Prime Minister because of the lockdown, he's doing it for our own safety. Don't let the virus win."
Aarav usually attends Pembury Primary School and lives in the village with his mother Vineeta, 42, father Hrishikesh, 44, and older sister Sawani, 13.
Aarav's mother says he came up with the idea and wrote the speech by himself from what he learnt on the news, all she had to do was film it.
Mrs Korde said: "It was totally his concept, we didn't tell him a single word of it and it amazed me.
"Instead of complaining, he came up with this and I think it's inspiring, it shows how little ones are learning so quickly how to cope.
"He was after magnets for a few days and I thought he was just bored and wanted to play but then he explained to me what he was thinking of doing with them and I was really amazed by what he was trying to say."
