Girls from the MFA under-14s are preparing for life in the Junior Premier League next season.
Last season’s under-13s have been invited to play alongside teams such as West Ham, Crystal Palace, Millwall and Spurs.
The team, which attracts talent from the west Kent area including Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Paddock Wood, Kings Hill and Sevenoaks, has trained hard over the past three years and developed their skills as a squad.
MFA is part of mSPORTi, an academy formed in September 2005 that delivers a multi-sport coaching and education programme for boys and girls aged four to 18 years throughout the south east.
Team manager Chris Crouch said: “The girls have trained so hard over the past three years and I’m so proud of them for getting this well-deserved promotion.
“It’s the first time MFA has ever been invited to join the JPL league and it’s a brilliant opportunity for them to show off their talent and see how far they can get.
“We’re looking for individual or corporate sponsors to help make this dream a reality.”
The team of 18 elite girl footballers are looking for sponsorship to help raise important funds for kit, equipment, match days, training, transportation, pitch hire and referees for the season 2020-21.
They have set up a fundraising page which can be viewed here. They have already raised over £500 towards their £1,500 target.
