Staplehurst: Police appeal after shed break-ins around village

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a number of sheds were broken into in a Kent village.

In the last week police have received five separate reports of break-ins in Staplehurst.

Security lights have also been smashed at the properties in Maidstone Road.

Two sheds were targeted between 4.15pm on Wednesday and 8.55am yesterday.

Officers later received reports that two more had been broken into on the same dates, between 4pm and 12.30pm.

Security lights were reportedly smashed between 8pm on Wednesday and 8am yesterday.

Another light was targeted around 9.30pm on Wednesday.

No items have been reported stolen in these incidents.

CCTV footage has shown three people in one of the gardens, where they were seen with a torch.
