A Hawkhurst homeowner discovered a would-be burglar inside their home, examining their belongings.

Around 3pm yesterday the victim walked into a room to find a man hand entered through an unlocked door. He ran out of the house when challenged.

He was white, with a brown beard, long untidy brown hair and a thin nose. He was wearing a blue hooded top with the hood up, baggy blue jeans and grey trainers.
