Car crashes into ditch after police use stinger in Staplehurst

A car crashed into ditch after police used a stinger to stop it.

A driver failed to stop at 11:45pm on Thursday, August 15 when requested to do so by police in Sissinghurst Road, Biddenden.

A pursuit was authorised and a stinger, which punctures car tyres, was used to bring the vehicle to a stop in the Staplehurst area.

Five people were arrested in connection with offences including burglary and remain in custody.

The car left the road and ended up in a ditch.
