A driver had a lucky escape after they lost control of their car and struck a telegraph pole.
The car veered off the road on a stretch of the A262 which links Lamberhurst and Goudhurst on Friday night.
The black Vauxhall Vectra cut the telegraph pole in half and ended up submerged by trees in a ditch close to the junction with Finchcocks.
Kent Police were called to the scene at 10.43pm and say a female driver suffered no injuries.
A spokesman from UK Power Networks said the accident did not disrupt electricity supplies.
The pole was repaired on Saturday afternoon.
