Runners weren't afraid to get messy when they were put through their paces on a tough obstacle course.

Hundreds of people charged through mud, climbed through barbed wire and scaled high fences yesterday, for the return of the Dirty Dozen Races.Brave participants either took part in the 6k or 12k routes at The Hop Farm, in Paddock Wood, but both options were lined with various challenges that even superheroes struggled to defeat.
