Three people have been arrested after a delivery driver was reportedly assaulted before his van was taken.

Police were called to Pinnock Lane in Staplehurst at just after 3pm on Friday (November 22) after a man wearing a balaclava allegedly approached the victim as he returned to his vehicle.

Police have released a CCTV image of a white Ford Ecosport believed to be linked to the incident

The man reportedly asked for the keys to the van before assaulting him.

A second man allegedly then threatened the victim before both suspects left with a white Vauxhall van containing several parcels.

Detectives have since arrested two men from Cambridge and a teenager from London in connection with the incident.
