Firefighters called police as they tackled a van fire in Frittenden, which is believed to have been started deliberately.

Crews were called to Mill Lane at 9.30pm yesterday and found the vehicle well alight.

They stayed in the rural lane tackling the fire until 10.30pm.

Police have been approached for a comment.
