A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash involving a bike and a car.

The A25 Maidstone Road in Platt, Borough Green, was partially blocked in both directions.

Ambulances arrived and treated the biker at the scene following the incident which happened at around 7.15am.

A spokesperson said: "SECAmb was called to reports of an RTC involving a car and a motorbike on the A25 Maidstone Road at Platt today.

"Two ambulance crews attended the scene and the motorcyclist was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital."

The road has since reopened but it was reported the route was still inaccessible to traffic at around 11.30am.
