A young child has been taken to hospital after suffering head injuries in a three-vehicle crash.
The child, who is just two-years-old but has not been named, was injured after a collision in Goudhurst at about 7pm last night.
The incident happened on the A262, around 100 metres west of Spelmonden Road and involved a grey Ford Focus, a black Ford Focus and a Grey Volkswagen Golf.
It is understood the black Focus and the Golf were in collision with the grey Focus just prior to temporary traffic lights.
A young boy, who was a passenger in the black Focus, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to a London hospital for treatment.
The two other occupants of the black Focus and two people from the Golf were treated at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.
As of Wednesday, the boy remains in hospital in a stable condition.
