A car and lorry crashed in Pembury partially blocking a main road.

It happened at around 8.50am on the A228 Pembury Northern Bypass at the Pembury Road and Tonbridge Road junction.

Traffic was queueing as a result of the collision and drivers were advised to approach with caution and to expect delays.

Officers from Kent Police and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where a woman received treatment for an injury.

Both vehicles have been now been recovered.
