A car was destroyed in a roadside blaze this afternoon.
Firefighters were called to the A21 in Lamberhurst just before 4pm.
They arrived to find the car engulfed by flames on the London-bound carriageway of the Lamberhurst bypass.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus doused the flames using compressed air foam from a high-pressure hose.
The vehicle was destroyed in the fire, which took half an hour to put out.
No one is thought to have been injured.
