Firefighters have been dealing with a small chimney fire at a pub in Goudhurst.

One engine was called to The Star and Eagle Hotel, on High Street, at 10.34am today.

The hotel remained open as usual, and there were no customers in at the time the incident occurred.

An employee said: "Everything is fine, the fire pretty much burnt itself out. We remained open as usual."

A crew remains on scene as they investigate.

No injuries have been reported.
