A MAN and a woman were trapped in a car following a three-vehicle pile-up on the A262 at Sissinghurst, near Cranbrook, this afternoon.
The crash took place near the Three Chimneys Farm shortly before 3.30pm after a Renault, a Rover and a Mazda were in collision.
One car crashed through a hedge at the side of the road. Although three vehicles are involved the passengers and drivers of only two cars were injured.
Two ambulance crews and the air ambulance were called to the scene but injuries are currently not thought to be life-threatening.
Firefighters from Cranbrook and Maidstone were also at the scene with cutting equipment. The A262 was closed in both directions.
