Crews were called to a van fire in the early hours of today.

Firefighters arrived at the scene in Whitewell Lane, Cranbrook, just after 4.50am.

They had to use cutting equipment to get inside the Mercedes Sprinter and reach the flames.

The team left the site about an hour later.

Kent Police was informed because the vehicle was in a hazardous position.
