The Paddock Wood Community Advice Centre has relocated to new premises at 94 Commercial Road.
Located on the ground floor, the new office has disabled access making it easier for the centre to support disabled, elderly and vulnerable members of the community once lockdown restrictions are lifted.
The centre is only yards up the road from their old premises at 64 Commercial Road, but that had only upstairs offices.
At present the centre can not offer for face to face appointments, but is offering advice through telephone and video appointments, and via email.
Centre manager Suzanah Rich said: "Our dedicated team of volunteer advisers is on hand to help people with
employment issues, benefit entitlements, housing, money worries and offering help
with relationship breakdown.
"Sadly, we anticipate a spike in demand when the various measures put in place by the Government come to an end.
"The Paddock Wood Community Advice Centre operates a successful Welfare Benefits Appeals Service.
"We support clients through the mandatory reconsideration process and then represent them at tribunal if required. "This service is still available through lockdown."
The office is open from Monday to Friday, from 9.30am till 1.30pm.
