A274 North Street, Headcorn, closed as power cables on road

A busy road in Headcorn was closed this morning as power cables have fallen on the road.

The A274 North Street was shut northbound shortly after 7am between the High Street and Kings Road for safety reasons.

Police attended to close the road as officers notified UK Power Networks. Repairs were carried out and the road was open by 11.30am.
