A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after his lorry overturned in Station Road, Staplehurst this morning.
Emergency services were called to 3.40am to free the driver who had become trapped following the collision.
Crews from two fire engines used lifting and hydraulic equipment to release the man via the roof flap in the driver's cab.
He was arrested at the scene by police on suspicion of drink driving and bailed until January 2 next year. He was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-threatening.
