A road in Cranbrook has been closed because of a gas leak.

Waterloo Road will be closed this evening between A229 Angley Road and Stone Street junctions following the leak.

Police and gas engineers have been called to the scene.

A KCC Highways team are also being sent to the road to help police with its closure.

Motorists should expect delays in the surrounding areas and allow extra time for their journey.
