When the Kent goes to the polls on Thursday, May 6, to elect a new County Council, it will be the Cranbrook division that looks set to be the most hotly contested within the borough of Tunbridge Wells.
Conservative Sean Holden, who has represented the area at Kent County Council since 2013 faces a challenge from no fewer than six other candidates.
They include Nancy Warne, of the Tunbridge Wells Alliance, who currently sits alongside Cllr Holden as one of the three ward councillors representing Benenden and Cranbrook at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.
He also faces a challenge from Lib Dem, Labour, Green, Reform UK and Independent candidates.
All six divisions that fall with the Tunbridge Wells borough are single-member seats.
Among the 31 candidates hoping to win one of the six seats available, there are Independents, Ukip and Reform UK supporters, as well as the four main parties.
