Balloons and lanterns were released last night in memory of three people killed in a car crash last weekend.
Hop pickers Roy Little and Stephen Jones were killed instantly and 16-year-old Chelsea-Rose Betts lost her battle for life on Tuesday after the collision on Saturday night.
The three were travelling in a car from Hawkhurst to Sandhurst on the A268 Rye Road when the red Volvo hatchback left the carriageway and smashed into a wall.
The car's two other occupants, Miss Betts' teenage brother and 30-year-old driver Jack Diamond, were injured but have been discharged from hospital.
Mr Little, 44, lived on the Tanyard Estate, Sandhurst, and along with 50-year-old Mr Jones, from North Wales, worked at the vineyard at nearby Hoads Farm.
Miss Betts was also from the village and it was on the playing field were friends and family gathered last night to pay their respects to the three.
After balloons and lanterns were released some of the group headed to The New Swan in Queen Street.
Reports of the deaths have been passed to the coroner and inquests will be open in due course.
