A man has been charged with six driving offences following a fatal crash near Staplehurst.
Kevin Moore is accused of driving without a licence, insurance and while over the drink-drive limit, causing a smash which killed Andrew Brain on the A229 in January.
The 45-year-old, of Couchman Green Lane, Staplehurst, is due to appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court this afternoon to answer the charges.
Moore's Land Rover Discovery smashed into Mr Brain's blue Volkswagen Golf at the B2079 Maidstone Road junction of the busy route between Linton and Staplehurst.
The 63-year-old, of Maidstone Road, Marden, was taken to a hospital in London with life-threatening injuries, but died the following day.
Moore, who was also injured and taken to a local hospital, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and later bailed.
