A man had to be freed from a vehicle by firefighters following a two-car collision in Pembury.

The crash happened on the A21 near the Kippings Cross roundabout, towards Hastings, at 1pm.

Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof and release the man, who is in his 30s.

He was treated by paramedics before being taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital, Pembury, with chest pain and other potential injuries.
