Icy conditions on a rural lane have caught out motorists this morning.

Police say there were four separate collisions in Tong Lane in Lamberhurst shortly before 8am, involving a total of six cars.

Fortunately, there were no injuries and all of the crashes were relatively minor.

However, officers are still at the scene, and Tong Lane is currently closed between the B2162 Lamberhurst Road and Cuckoo Lane.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area.
