One lucky kmfm listener will be heading into the Easter holidays with £1,000 extra in their bank account.

Allie Wheeler from Marden found out she was a winner today.

The Kent radio station's monthly competition Thousand Pound Friday sees listeners enter via text and online to win the prize.

Entries start at 6pm on Thursday and 24-hours later one Kent person is chosen at random.

Mrs Wheeler received a call from kmfm drivetime presenter Numi at 6pm this evening, and found out she was the winner for March.

Mrs Wheeler, who entered on Thursday evening, revealed that her husband did not even know she was in with a chance. She also shared the news that she is three weeks away from welcoming a baby.

The winning continues on kmfm next week with the finals of Say It and Music Blaster for the month, and next weekend two pairs of tickets are up for grabs to see JLS in Dreamland in July.
