A road has reopened after person was taken to hospital following a crash involving two vehicles.

The accident happened at 4.15pm on the A228 Malling Road and Rocfort Road in Snodland forcing the closure of the busy road in both directions.

It was believed to have involved an overturned van.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called at 4.16pm to a report of a collision involving two vehicles on the A228 near Snodland.

“One person has been taken to hospital as a precaution.”

The road was closed to allow recovery of the vehicles but has since reopened and traffic flow has returned to normal, according to reports.
