A popular remembrance parade that was threatened with cancellation due to a lack of volunteers is set to go ahead.
The parade through Paddock Wood has become more and more popular in recent years, but a shortage of street marshals almost led to it being called off.
Around 700 people attended last year, and it was estimated that there would need to be at least 16 volunteers to line the route.
Starting from St Andrew's Church, the route affects Maidstone Road, Commercial Road, Station Road, and Church Road, and finishes at the war memorial at the junction of Station Road and Commercial Road.
Kent Police used to marshal the event and deal with road closures, but after a change of authority which handed the power to close roads over to local authorities, they were no longer involved in this area.
Officers do still attend for matters relating to public order, and also to take part in the parade.
Kent Police plays an active role in safety advisory groups run by local councils, offering advice and guidance regarding specific areas of responsibility for both the organisers of the event and other agencies involved.
Due to a sharp decline in the number of people signing up to help with the event, Paddock Wood Town Council launched an appeal for volunteers, putting posters up around the town and on social media to try to attract people.
The campaign was successful, and enough volunteers have now been found.
A spokesman for the council said: "The council is very grateful to all the people who have volunteered to help out, we now have enough marshals plus some reserves to make sure the event runs smoothly."
This year's parade will be held on Sunday, November 13. Delegates will leave St Andrew's Church at 10.30am, and will arrive for the service at the war memorial around 10.55am.
