Police have closed a rural road near Sissinghurst after a vehicle crashed into bushes this evening.

The A262 Goudhurst Road was partially blocked following the accident and police closed the road in both directions at 6.10pm.

There is very slow traffic from the A229 to Whitewell Lane, which has also been shut.

Emergency services are at the scene.

Police have been approached for comment.
