A teenager has been cautioned following a six-day search at a village home.
Police officers conducted the exhaustive examination of the three-bedroom semi-detached house in Staplehurst in October - but have never revealed the reason for the operation.
At the time of the search three teenagers were arrested in relation to the matter before being released pending further inquires.
Neighbours reported hearing drilling and loud noises coming from inside the Headcorn Road property, with police making frequent trips between the house and a blue tent erected in the front garden.
Now, despite remaining tight-lipped about why the trio were arrested, police have confirmed the outcome of their investigation.
A force spokesman said: "Kent Police arrested three teenagers from the Staplehurst area on October 8, 2020. Two of the teenagers have been released with no further action and one received a conditional caution."
Police say they cannot give any further details about the offence for which the caution was given, or why they carried out the six-day search of the house.
The property stands on a leafy road close to the heart of the village, where substantial houses set back from the road are valued at more than £450,000.
One neighbour speaking at the time of the police operation in October, who did not wish to be named, said police had also called at the property "at least three times" earlier in the year.
