Three teenagers have been arrested as police remain at a house at the centre of an investigation for the last four days.
Officers were called to the property in Headcorn Road, Staplehurst, on Friday and remain at the scene this afternoon.
Eyewitnesses describe comings and goings between the house and a blue tent which has been erected in the front garden in view of the street.
Neighbours have heard drilling coming from upstairs and loud noises during the ongoing police operation.
Earlier this afternoon activity appeared focused on an upstairs room at the house, with officers seen at a window.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police can confirm a presence is continuing in Staplehurst, following warrants in connection with an ongoing investigation.
"Officers arrested three teenagers from the area between October 8 and 9, all of whom were released pending further investigation on October 9."
Crucially, police failed to reveal the reason for the arrests.
