Helen Grant dropped into Cranbrook to take a look at the town's newest business.
Mrs Grant, who is hoping to be re-elected as the MP for Maidstone and the Weald in the December 12 General Election, took time out from her election campaign to chat to owners Emma and Stuart Smith at The Hive business hub in Stone Street.
The family-run venture - Mrs Smith's son Tobias and daughter-in-law Danielle also work there - offers the opportunity of flexible working to the town's entrepreneurs in its internet cafe as well as providing a social centre and tasty Greek food for shoppers and tourists.
Mrs Grant declared herself impressed with both the facilities and the decor. "This is just the type of facility that those seeking flexible working need in Cranbrook," she said.
Other candidates standing for Maidstone and the Weald are Dan Wilkinson (Labour), James Willis (Lib Dem), Stuart Jeffery (Green) and Yolande Kenward (Ind).
