A woman was cut free after becoming trapped in her vehicle following a two-car crash.

Fire crews were called at Glassenbury Road, Cranbrook at just after 5pm today.

One woman was trapped by her injuries, so crews worked closely with paramedics to create space inside the vehicle, allowing the woman to be assessed before being removed to a waiting ambulance.

The incident was over by 6pm.
