This year's festival concert features an orchestra of local musicians and a choir of well over 40 singers who will perform various musical pieces such as the Overture to William Tell by Rossini, Libertango by Piazolla, Time Lapse by Michael Nyman and other orchestral gems.

In addition the choir will perform a choral selection from West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein, Zadok the Priest by G.F. Handel, Rhythm of Life from Sweet Charity, a medley of songs related to Dover and of course the usual closing hymns and music that are associated with the Last Night of the Proms.

This year’s charity that the organising committee have chosen to support is the Dover Outreach Centre who aim is to “support people on their journey to a better life”.
