Trip to Deal Castle and Walmer Castle

A visit to both castles, which were built by Henry VIII to protect England from European invasion.
Arriving first at Deal’s seaside castle which has a fascinating history and is a great place to explore with dark passages that wind through the castle walls. Our visit is from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

There will then be a lunch until 2.30pm when we visit the charming Tudor Castle by the Sea at Walmer. We depart for home at 5pm.
