Thousands of ducks will be launched into Canterbury's River Stour from the bridge by Toddlers Cove and will “swim” towards the entrance to Westgate Gardens for this popular, fun and family-friendly event.

Individuals can sponsor ducks for £1 each in the run up to the event. The sponsor of the winning duck (first under the bridge) will get £250, the second place £100, third place £50. Winner of the fourth place will win a voucher.

Come and sponsor a duck at sponsorship stalls at Whitefriars, Canterbury on the 4th, 7th, 14th or 21st September. A limited number of ducks will be available for sponsorship before the Race in Westgate Gardens (Rather than risk disappointment, please pop by sponsorship stalls on one of the above dates).

Note: The time given is for the start of the race, weather conditions and any other restrictions allowing. Please arrive early, especially to sponsor a duck.
