Making The Connection Charity Hike

11km Hike led by two North Downs Way ambassadors who will be sharing their knowledge along the way. Halfway through we will stop at a newly built sculpture where the architects will speak on it.
Please register at the link below to secure your spot! https://www.connection-at-stmartins.org.uk/upcoming-events/making-the-connection-charity-hike-2024/.

All proceeds for the hike go towards the homelessness charity The Connection at St Martin's.

We will connect with downland, with woodland, with our heritage, with pilgrimage, with our ancestors (Neolithic, Roman), and with the homeless charity The Connection. The hike starts at Wye Station and ends in Chilham Village. Halfway through we will stop at the Coppice Oratory (a newly built artwork at the First Sighting of the Canterbury Cathedral), where the architects of Tchonova and la Roi Architecture will speak on the design ideas behind and physical making of the Coppice Oratory timber structure.

We will also be having lunch at the Coppice oratory where we will have a view of Canterbury Cathedral seven miles in the distance.

This is the second annual event.
