Participants follow clear written instructions to guide them between checkpoints where light refreshments are available, additionally soup and sandwiches are offered at lunch.

A time is recorded at all checkpoints. On completing the event each participant receives a personalised certificate.

The event is marshalled with, if necessary, recovery from along the route. GPX is posted before the event.
